In February 2007 Eden College was founded by Eden City Hotels. Eden College enables all Eden City Hotels employees to develop their skills & behaviour through exclusive Eden City Hotels Training Courses. Three categories have been created: General Courses, Management Courses and High Potential.

General courses
The General Courses are meant for all employees of Eden City Hotels. Examples are: Guest Services, Handling Complaints, Upselling, Medical First Response and Handling Aggressive Situations.

Management courses
The Management Courses are meant for the Management Team Memebers. In a period of 24 months every Manager and Supervisor gets the opportunity to follow Courses like Leadership, Exploring Talent, Coaching, Dealing with Change and Time Management.

High potential
The High Potential Course is for employees who really want to make a carreer at Eden City Hotels. Eden City Hotels created an exclusive Leadership Development Programme which is spread out over 18 months. Every year The High Potential (HIPO) group is selected from the Hotel Management Teams. The High Potential Course consists of subjects like Financial Knowledge, Human Resources & Legal Knowledge, Team Building, Conflict Management, Negotiation Skills, Time & Stress Management, Creative Thinking and a Final Group Assignment.

These courses enable High Potentials to develop themselves in their current management positions and eventually to become a Hotel Manager.
