As Eden Hotel Group grows, we must consider our impact on the world, and do everything we can to ensure it is a positive and sustainable experience for everyone concerned. At Eden Hotel Group we always act responsible and in the best interests of our guests, hotels, environment and staff. Eden Hotel Group supports initiatives that fit the style and character of the organisation.

We strive to reduce our carbon footprint as much as possible. Several initiatives have started in order to reach this goal.

Sjoerd Dijkstra Foundation

In 2007 Mr. Sjoerd Dijkstra privately started the Sjoerd Dijkstra Foundation. Purpose of this foundation is to support promising students working in the hotelindustry in Europe or Africa. The foundations gives students the opportunity to come to the Netherlands for further education in the hotel industry.

Stichting Kinderoncologische Vakantiekampen

Since several years Eden Hotel Group takes care of an unforgettable day for children and youth with cancer of brain tumor in particular, at one of the many holiday camps which Stichting Kinderoncologische Vakantieparken (SKOV, Children Oncology Holiday Camps Foundation) organises throughout the year. Doing fun activities with the children, Eden employees provide a wonderful dinner at the end of the day.

Green Website

Since 2010 the Eden Hotel Group web servers are housed in the 'green' gyro center in Amsterdam. With this, Eden Hotel Group meets the requirements for the Green Website label, which means that our web servers use minimal energy capacity, only use of renewable energy and all used energy is compensated.
