A brief history Eden Hotel Group was founded in 1977 by Mr. Sjoerd Dijkstra. It is one of the very few independent hotel organizations in the country. Eden Hotel Amsterdam operated at that time 67 rooms. Currently the hotel is comprised of two hotels: the three star Eden Hotel Amsterdam (218 rooms) and the four star Eden Rembrandt Square Hotel Amsterdam (166 rooms). Eden Hotel Group nowadays has over 1900 three and four star rooms in Dutch city centers like Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Groningen, Leeuwarden, Enschede, Hengelo, Eindhoven, The Hague, Zutphen, Maastricht and Emmen. Apart from the hotel the groups also has several distinctive restaurants and concepts like Café Americain, Simply Bread and Brasserie FLO. This makes Eden Hotel Group an innovating group, always inspiring, flexible and surprising for both the leisure and the corporate segment.
