Richard Wagners ‘Der Ring des Nibelungen’ is the most impressive music theatre cycle regularly performed at many opera-houses all over the world. The performance has four parts; Das Rheingold, Die Walkure, Siegfried and Gotterdammerung. Starting from September 26 till October 12 ‘Die Walküre’ will be performed at the ‘Nationale Muziekkwartier’ in Enschede. The following seasons the other two parts will be performed, at the ‘Nationale Muziekkwartier’ as well. During the 200th anniversary of Wagner in the year 2013, the whole performance will be played in Enschede at once.
The bar is open from 7 am to 1 am, and is perfect for a morning coffee, afternoon tea, quick bite or evening drinks. We offer you free fresh coffee and tea during you entire stay! Make yourself at home in our lounge, at the bar with friends or while catching up on some work. Other options for food and drinks is the vending machine in the lobby.

Various different kinds of bread, cheese, sliced meat and more sandwich fillings decorate the buffet. Monday until Friday breakfast is being served from 07.00 until 10.30 o'clock. Saturday and Sunday it is possible to have breakfast from 08.00 until 11.30 o'clock.
The Eden City Hotel Groningen solely focuses on room nights and breakfast and has a rooftop terrace. The hotel does not have its own restaurant. Our reception team on the other hand has a lot of knowledge of the local restaurant business and is more than willing to point you in the right direction. Just let them know what you feel like today. And afterwards our bar is the best place in town for a nightcap.
